CCD

There will be no CCD classes this Sunday, due to First Holy Communion. Also, there will be no CCD next Sunday, since it is Mother's Day. Our final classes for the year will be held on Sunday, May 18th. This will be our end of the year party. All classes will meet in the school hall during the regular class time.

Pastoral Council Meeting

An important meeting of the Pastoral Council will be held on Monday, May 12th at 7:30pm. The purpose of this meeting is to review the results of the recent Cluster Planning Meeting and to discuss how cluster planning will affect our parish. It is vital that all Pastoral Council members attend this meeting. The meeting will be held in the Rectory.

A Family Perspective

Jesus gave his life totally for us. He held nothing back. It is in this context that parents and spouses must hear the words in today's Gospel, "Love one another as I have loved you." We are called to give totally of ourselves, with no strings attached. This is the vocation and ministry of parents and spouses. It's all about self sacrifice. How are you doing????

Weather to Agree or Disagree?

The local weathercaster was so often wrong in his predictions that he became the laughing stock of the community. Finally, he wrote to the headquarters of the television network he worked for and applied for a transfer. The main office wanted to know the reason for the request. "Because," the unhappy man replied, "the weather here just doesn't agree with me".
