Thanks to Pam Krupansky, Jackie Garress, and Deanna Reczek for their hard work in organizing this event. This year's CCD teachers are: Jackie Garress, Deanna Reczek, Lisa Hillman, Pam Krupansky, Marge Bednar, Jackie Zelina, Cheryl Kissling, Frank Lasak Jr, Chrissy Mersereau and Kathy Catanese. Our heartfelt thanks to these individuals who volunteer their time and energy for the Catholic education of our children. God's GiftsIt's so hard to be good, but how worthwhile! Peace and wisdom, virtue and holiness, mature prayer and childlike trust - all these come from God. These qualities can be great signs, for us, of God's reign - though often really annoying to others. With these good gifts we meet our Lord and the One who sent him. Without these gifts we are lost. With these gifts and by our own endurance, sin and impatience can be overcome. And in such victory we share the Lord's life and table. A Family PerspectiveIn today's Gospel Jesus says, "Whoever welcomes a child in my name, welcomes me..." The opposite is also true; when we reject children, we reject Jesus. How do our children know that they are welcome in our lives? Women's Club NewsCovered Dish SocialWe are looking forward to a large attendance at our Annual Covered Dish Social to welcome in the new school year and the beginning of the Womens Club activities.
