Masses for the Week
Join In Singing27th Sunday in Ordinary Time Among the most the vital of our responsibilities as a community of faith, is sharing in worship with one another. Our Sunday celebration, the Mass, is best celebrated when we all participate. All hymns are located in the misalette.
In the Family Of JesusDove and Serpent, naive and wise-simplicity and wholeness are childlike virtues. Young people like to give names, discover reality and experience all things new. We can be childlike and ask why two become one of us --and calls us family in the Church. The answer is deep but simple: God loves us. How can we not say, "Yes!" and "Me, too, please!" Family PerspectiveWhen the Pharisees in today's Gospel asked Jesus a question about marriage, they began by asking; "Is it lawful...?" This is the wrong question. Family relationships are not about what you have "got-to-do"! Family is about what you "want-to-do" out of love. They were trying to squeeze by on the minimum. In families we are called to do and be more!
