1998 Catholic Charities

Reverend John V. Oulds
St. Joseph Rectory
404 Charles Street
Coatesville, PA 19320

Dear Father Oulds:

Please accept my sincere congratulations to you and to the faithful of St. Joseph Parish for achieving your goal for the 1998 Catholic Charities Appeal. The selfless response of you and your parishioners is to be highly commended.

The Catholic Charities Appeal is a strong example of Christian stewardship among the faithful in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Each year, parishioners offer gifts of time, talent and treasure to the Appeal. These gifts provide compassion and support to those among us who are most in need of Christ's loving care. Through the generosity of the parishioners of St. Joseph Parish, the Archdiocese can continue to respond to Jesus' call "...to bring glad tidings to the lowly (and) to heal the brokenhearted."

With prayerful best wishes, I remain

Sincerely yours in Christ,
Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua
Archbishop of Philadelphia

A very large "thank you" to all our parishioners who helped make this possible. This is called "team work" and love for your Parish and your caring for those less fortunate than ourselves. A personal "thank you" from your chairperson for your spirit of cooperation.
