75 Anniversary Meeting

Due to the cancellation of last week's meeting, we have rescheduled the meeting for Tueday, January 26th at 7:30pm in the school hall. Please plan to attend.

Witness

"Look, there is the Lamb of God!" John the Forerunner repeats his witness to all who listen to him. Eager to finish his task for salvation, he shows to all the Chosen One of God. Today and throughout this week we pray for the unity of all Christians. Like John, we also must witness to what brings us together in the Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed. In Jesus we are all saved. He is the light of the nations. How can we bear witness together to God's Son?

Local Spaghetti Dinner

Nearby St. Cecilia Church will be holding their Annual Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, January 30th, from 3:00 to 7:00pm, in their school cafeteria, 6th Avenue and Diamond Street. Tickets are $8.00 for adult and $6.00 for a child, free for any child under four years old. Enjoy a complete Spaghetti Supper, from salad to dessert.

Family Life Office Seminars

For information and Registration - pick up flyers in the church vestibule:

Marriage Enrichment Training - February 11th - 7:30pm to 9:30 pm at the Family Life Office on the campus of St. Charles Seminary. The cost is $50 per person/married couple.

S.T.E.P. (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting) - February 9th and 16th (snow date February 23rd) from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at the Family Office Office, Wynnewood. You don't need to be a parenting expert, because the S.T.E.P. program is the authority. All you have to do is show videos and facilitate group discussion - and chances are you can already run a VCR! The training will familiarize you with the program and give you tips on getting started in your parish/cluster. The leader's guide tells you what to do and when to do it. It really couldn't be much easier. The fee is $75/parish team of 2 persons/married couples.
