Please join with your fellow parishioners in support of this important campaign of charity in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Gifts to the Appeal help provide services such as marriage preparation, domestic counseling, foster care and adoption for thousands of men, women and children in our area. Many are the programs, institutions and agencies of service funded directly by the Appeal. If your means permits you to support only one charitable cause, let this be the one. To our kind donors, thank you for your caring response to the Appeal. If you have not yet made your gift, please do so by placing it in the collection basket or vestibule drop box or by sending it to the Rectory Office. God bless you for your goodness to His needy! A Note from your Chairperson: With last weeks collections, we have donations amounting to $1,836.00 which leaves a balance of $ 5,664.00 before we reach our goal of $7,500.00. Please open up your hearts to help us reach the goal assigned to us by the Archdiocese. Drop your contributions in the mail to either the Rectory or to Ann Cigas this week if you have not already done so. HELP US REACH OUR GOAL.!!! Thank you. Ann B. Cigas Attention, Young Mothers St. Cecilia Church, 6th Avenue and Chestnut Street, will hold a Young Mothers' Hour of Prayer on Monday, May 24th, 1:00 to 2:00pm, offering some quiet time for prayer and reflection devoted to Mary, the Mother of God. Treat yourself to a calm and hushed break from the busyness of the day to glorify the Blessed Virgin in her loving example of caring and creating a home of peace.
