She has explored the lives of many founders of religious orders. All are most welcome to attend this event which explores the life of our beautiful saint and his great contributions to our diocese in a most interesting way. Call 215/627-3080 for further information.

Our Cornerstone

Two millennia ago in a little province at the edge of the vast Roman Empire, some officials executed Jesus, a Jew, as a danger to national security. Today we call the living Christ our Lord, the cornerstone of our faith. "The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone." Is this fact a biblical lesson that contraindicates execution? Could Pope John Paul II have been right at St. Louis this year when he strongly opposed capital punishment? God's reign lies in wait for people who produce the fruit of love in the vineyard of the Lord.

WOMEN'S CLUB NEWS

Reminder

If you are able to make anything for the Craft Table, please let Ann Cigas know what it is, especially if it is something that is to be chanced off. For Needlework projects, contact Mary Benkovich or Margaret Florian. Along with the Crafts and Needlework, we will be doing our usual baked goods and ethnic foods - dates will appear in the weekly bulletins. We need your physical support for these projects.
