Welcome!Located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, St. Joseph's Roman Catholic church in Coatesville was founded by Slovak immigrants in 1924. While no longer a predominantly ethnic parish, St. Joseph's remains a vibrant contemporary community that still retains a sense of it's unique heritage. In 1998, St. Joseph's was twinned with nearby St. Stanislaus Kostka parish from which St. Joseph's was originally formed. Reverend John V. Oulds, with assistance of a small number of visiting priests, now ministers to both parishes. Together again after almost 75 years, we invite you to celebrate the Catholic faith with us. Please bear in mind that this first year of the merger is a transitional year, with assuredly new revelations to be made, leading to the possibility of future revisions. Be patient as, with God's grace, we become more and more His Church for and with one another.
